Drakk: A Rising Name in the Modern Schranz Scene
California based DJ and producer Drakk continues to build momentum within the new wave of schranz artists pushing the harder edge of techno. Emerging from the North American scene, his productions and DJ sets reflect the raw, high pressure sound that defines the current era of hard techno.
Drakk hails from the Santa Clara Valley, west of the Diablo Mountains. Over time, he has built a reputation through consistent releases, international support, and club appearances. His music focuses on distorted percussion, aggressive low end, and fast paced rhythms that align with the global rise of schranz.
Key Releases and Label Support
Drakk’s catalog includes releases on labels such as 44 Label, Kontor, Agony, and more. Two of his most recognized tracks are a schranz remix of “Phatt Bass” and the “Gangstas,” released on 44 Label, one of last years most supported tracks.
The Launch of Kkula & More
In addition to his own productions, Drakk launched his imprint Kkula. The schranz label’s most recent compilation Syndicate 2 includes tracks from Marco Leckbert, Rudosa, and Hellbound!. Drakk also recently released his first sample pack, “DRAKK SCHRANZ ESSENTIALS,” through Raveyard Sounds.
Drakk’s touring schedule continues to expand internationally. A recent run of shows began in Brooklyn. From there, the tour moves through three stops in India before concluding in Sydney, Australia.
A Rising Force in Schranz
With steady releases, international bookings, massive support, and the launch of his own label, it’s clear why Drakk earns a place on Hard Techno Hub’s Top 10 Rising Forces list.
